Why you can’t pay for AI subscriptions with crypto directly
Claude (by Anthropic), ChatGPT (by OpenAI), Perplexity, Gemini and almost every other AI tool only accept ordinary debit and credit cards at checkout. None of them have a native “pay with Bitcoin/USDT” button.
That leaves two groups of people stuck: those who hold their money in crypto and don’t want to cash out through a bank, and those whose local cards keep getting declined by these platforms. Both can subscribe in minutes with one workaround — a virtual card you fund with crypto.
The fix: a crypto-funded virtual card
An IZIPAY virtual Visa card sits between your crypto and the AI service. You top the card up with crypto (USDT, Bitcoin, USDC and more), and then pay for any subscription that accepts Visa — which is all of them. The AI platform simply sees a normal card payment.
There’s no bank account and no KYC: you issue a card with just an email in about two minutes, add it to Apple Pay or Google Pay if you like, and use it anywhere Visa works.
Step by step: pay for Claude Pro with crypto
Issue an IZIPAY virtual card
Sign up and create a virtual Visa (about two minutes).
Top it up with crypto
Send USDT (TRC20 is cheapest), Bitcoin, USDC, TRX, BNB or SOL to your card.
Subscribe on claude.ai
Go to claude.ai → Upgrade → Pro (or Max), enter your IZIPAY card, and confirm. Claude Pro unlocks instantly.
Step by step: pay for ChatGPT Plus with crypto
Issue an IZIPAY virtual card
Same card works for every service — issue it once.
Top it up with crypto
Add USDT, Bitcoin or USDC to cover the subscription plus a little for fees.
Subscribe in ChatGPT
Open ChatGPT → Upgrade to Plus (or Pro), enter your card and confirm. Access activates immediately.
Which cryptocurrency should you use?
Stablecoins are the easiest choice because the amount stays predictable. USDT on the TRC20 (Tron) network is the most popular thanks to very low transfer fees. USDC works just as well.
You can also fund the card with Bitcoin (BTC), TRX, BNB, SOL or ETH — but with volatile coins, top up slightly more than the subscription price to cover price movement and network fees.
Tips to avoid declines
Top up a little extra (a dollar or two) so fees don’t leave you short at checkout.
When adding the card to Apple Pay or Google Pay, always choose Email verification — the code is delivered to your IZIPAY dashboard.
If a platform restricts your region, set your account region and a VPN to a supported, non-sanctioned country before subscribing.
Beyond AI: other subscriptions you can pay with crypto
The same card pays for far more than AI tools. Use it for Telegram Premium and Stars, Netflix, Spotify, Steam, ad accounts and thousands of other services — anywhere Visa is accepted.
